This year’s exhibition’s visual concept explores the metaphorical space teachers and students inhibit in the classroom everyday. Childlike elements such as little figures and geometric and organic shapes pepper across grids to create a sense of wonder and possibility that art educators try everyday to weave into our lessons.

Reminiscent of the way our students explore life and themselves within the boundaries of the curriculum we design for them, the featured little figures also dance and lounge around the parameters of the oversized alphabets. As art educators we too hope to be the springboard of inspiration to our students as they amble along life’s path through the ever changing notions of space.
