The concept of work-life balance, its meaning and whether it is attainable is an often-asked question.
Seeking time management experts, we desire systems of efficiency. If “time-stealers” like distractions, endless administrative work and meetings that “could’ve been emails” got addressed, we’d have more time for passions outside of work, right?
My work hopes to make the viewer question what work-life balance means. I appropriated the Baroque style of art and added personal elements, like my workload and my commitment to hobbies, to evoke a sense of drama and dark humour.
