Survive the School Year is a card game about teacher wellbeing in the context of Singapore schools. Players go through a typical school year as one of six teacher characters, navigating a variety of situations that can drain or increase their bandwidth. Employing a satirical approach, the game aims to raise awareness about the triumphs and challenges encountered by teachers and elicit resonance among teachers by drawing on their lived experiences. Implicitly, it encourages teachers to reflect on how collaborative efforts can safeguard collective well-being and maximise student outcomes.
