This artwork draws inspiration from the symbolic representation of the shepherd’s staff as a tool that guides the direction for a flock of sheep. The role of an educator is likened to the role of a shepherd who draws wandering sheep back to the flock in search of the path to greener pastures. For education in the 21st century, what pathways shall we point our children towards? One that was trialed and tested or one that is less trodden? The quest remains a venture; a calculated journey to reap speculated returns.
