Creases, carefully ironed onto a baby’s napkin, form a radial pattern suggesting the sun. Instead of taking out the creases, the iron is used to perform the exact opposite to create an image of the sun to pay tribute the homemaker’s labour and to symbolise her constant wish for the sun to be out so that her laundry can be dried in time for the next wash. This work explores the idea of domesticity through investigating mundane routines of doing household chores.
