As a student, the lingering sense of uncertainty hung over every lesson together with the hopeful promise of a satisfying future. This series of work questions the exchange of compliance for prestige, and the lost of one’s imagination. Through the use of a familiar classroom imagery layered with delicate colours of Singapore skies, the work presents the relationship between the wandering mind and its reality.
