The artwork is inspired by the destruction of our natural world to make way for man-made buildings. We captured moments, in various environments, where constructions inscribe and develop relationships between nature and incomplete man-made buildings. Using two-dimensional media, we experimented with layers to give a three-dimensional effect, in order to express the process of construction over time. The artwork is not only an expression of our personal experiences, but also a metaphor for a de-constructed, yet embodied experience of a specific place in slices of time.
