Sherry is inspired by the world around her. She also enjoys experimenting with different ways of painting to create lyrical layers in her work. A dreamer with an insatiable curiosity about the human condition, she seeks to explore the unknown.

Through emotions expressed by varying degrees of abstraction, Sherry hopes to connect with viewers on a subconscious level and create a dialogue.

A perfect artwork is one that is not perfect at all.

To slip away from the daily demands and dictates of our fast-paced society, Sherry has developed a habit of daily meditation through painting. This series of work is to encourage herself and others to take a step back into their inner world of passion and slowly recover a sense of balance and peace. Inspired by a young student’s words, “A perfect artwork is one that is not perfect at all”, Sherry believes that growth and beauty comes through in the process of trying rather than waiting for inspiration to strike.

Sherry hopes that you will enjoys Daily – her bid to break free of expectations.
