Prior to teaching, Siti Saleha was a caricaturist and comic artist. She believes that having a good sense of humour is important when one is constantly surrounded by young children at work and at home.
Siti often jokes that being a full-time teacher and mother of three often leads her to experience a whole new level of exhaustion. In her constant juggle between the workloads in school and at home, she likes to look out for the lighter side of interactions with her students and her own children, which she will convert into jokes and scenes for a comic strip.

The conversations and interactions Siti Saleha has with children is her endless source of inspiration.
Besides having a good laugh, many of her teacher-parent friends who read her comics are able to identify with the issues portrayed.

She is heartened that her cartoons resonate with many and hopes that her artwork will be able to connect with viewers and allow them to reminisce about their own experiences with their children.
