Culture is a social construct; it is a system of shared values, beliefs, and norms that characterise a group of people. Formed over a period of time through frequent connections, it is fluid, dynamic and evolving. Studying culture helps us to understand our place in an interconnected world, how we function as a society, and how we perceive the notion of self and others.

In a;edge 2020, our Teacher-artists examine various aspects of our multifaceted society through their own lenses. Through their artworks, we open up the discussion and invite the audience to reflect on some of the contemporary issues we face every day.
