We all have childhood dreams
I dreamt of being a pilot one day
One who will fly high
Who defies gravity and conquers the fear of heights
Spreading my wings to the world
I dreamt of being an animal trainer one day
Who cares and provides for the animals
Giving treats and teaching tricks
And comforting them during those trying times
I dreamt of being a chef one day
Playing ‘masak masak’ with my siblings
Swapping my ladle with an actual one
‘Wokking’ noisily with whatever objects that I have
Most importantly, I dream of being a strong-willed person
Holding my head high in the face of adversity
To live life one dream at a time.
