Figures of speech

Too often, we hear, but do not listen. Inspired by the concept of a Palimpsest, this resultant parchment is an accumulation of layers of dialogue that started — was interrupted — and restarted. By taking turns to respond to each other’s drawings and inscriptions, we attempt to converse authentically, with honest concentration and with the sincerity to listen. The drawing captures the tapestry of the narratives and stories participants say to one another.
