entropy, reimagined explores the unexpected visual outcomes of using organic substrates with paints. The key focus is to explore the breaking down of the banana leaf and the image on it, recording physical changes over time.

Time plays an important role in this body of work as organic materials go through discolouration and shrinkage during natural decomposition.

The colours used by Seet in this work were inspired by that of traditional cakes and Nyonya kuehs, often wrapped in banana leaves themselves.
