A place is just a place, but we ascribe different, often opposing meanings to it. Lim Jia Ning Michelle wants to express the tensions that occur between place and person that tend to exist in our minds, when we find ourselves inhabiting a place that we may or may not want to be in. Perhaps the only difference between desire and discomfort is an inflection in the mind.
